Hello, this is a testimonial.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Hoyes Michalos for assisting me with my consumer proposal. I had struggled for more three years with an enormous amount of debt. My consumer proposal was accepted by my creditors several months ago and already I feel as though a tremendous weight has been lifted. It is a huge relief to be able to sleep through the night rather than lying awake feeling an enormous amount of stress over money, debt and creditors.

Your staff was professional, kind, considerate and patient. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and never once made me feel as though I was a failure for filing a proposal.

I am happy to say that I am finally able to put some money into a savings account each month; I am no longer living pay cheque to pay cheque. For this I am forever grateful to Hoyes Michalos and your staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I just wanted to let you know, that we were thrilled to complete our consumer proposal in October 2007 - wasn't easy sometimes, but a lesson that had to be learned. It was a 5 year proposal (60 months of reminding myself that we can't buy now-pay later, because pay later always comes!)

The best lesson we learned is how to stay on track, and do not borrow or use credit cards! We have managed without them for five years and will continue to avoid them. We pay cash for everything - and if we don't have the cash we don't buy it. Communication with your partner is crucial - know where your money is going and how much is going.

For those out there who are struggling, hang tough - dig in your heels and stay focused - the immense relief is worth the effort.

And you just cannot find a better team to help you along the way - Hoyes Michalos you have my vote and I will refer everyone I know that needs a helping hand to manage debt. Thanks a lot to everyone - we are truly grateful.

Let me say at the start that I have never written to a company to say thank you regardless how exemplary the service but I felt I had to write and thank you and your staff.

From the first call, made with a lot of mixed emotions on our part, to the end of our process we have been made to feel valued and treated with nothing but respect when we expected to be reprimanded and shamed due to the shambles of our financial situation.

It has not been an easy journey but you and your staff have certainly made the journey much easier than we felt we had a right to expect and for that we thank each and every one of you.
