toronto-real-estate-event-updatedI’m a strong believer in financial education, and that’s why I am pleased to announce that I’ll be a panelist at the Investor’s Guide To Thriving: How to Navigate in a High-Debt, Low Growth, Bubble-Prone World event in Toronto on November 29th.

This educational event is presented by Larry Berman, a Co-Founder of ETF Capital Management, and the host of Berman’s Call, featured weekly on the Business News Network (BNN).  After the financial crisis of 2008 he became convinced there was a need for more in-depth financial education, and in 2009 he began hosting live educational conferences.

I will be a panelist discussing debt and Canadian real estate with Rob Carrick of the Globe & Mail, Benjamin Tal, Deputy Chief Economist at CIBC World Markets, David Madani, the Canada Economist at Capital Economics, Greg Bonnell, lead journalist covering real estate at BNN, and Ben Rabidoux, the President of North Cove Advisors.

Other speakers at the event include award winning personal finance expert and author of nine books, Kelley Keehn, and Jonathan Chevreau, long time personal finance columnist and the Chief Findependence Officer at Financial Independence Hub.

Here’s the best part: the event is completely free, so if you want to attend here are the details:

I don’t know what questions I’ll be asked so I don’t know specifically what I’ll be discussing, but I can reveal that we are hard at work crunching our numbers and I plan to reveal some never-before released research info on mortgage debt and insolvency

The numbers may surprise you.

If you will be in the Toronto or Markham area and are interested in these topics, please register and stop by to say hello!
