I strongly reccomend that you seek out Hoyes-Michalos for support and guidance if you have run into difficulty with your creditors. The staff in the London office (in Ontario, Canada) are kind, professional and helpful, and their fees are also affordable. They provide Consumer Proposals and other options to relieve the burden, including counselling to help you on your way.

I can't recommend them enough, should you find yourself in financial hot water.

I'm an extremely skeptical person, and given the situation I was in, even more so towards any financial institution/business. I even checked out other LITs (and many, many options other than proposals) before settling with Hoyes Michalos; despite seeming a tad "info-mercially" online, they show that they truly care about their clients and do everything they can to help. They treated me with kindness, respect, empathy, and dignity right from the very first sobbing phone call (thank you to Maddy and Brett!) until my final counselling session, and I never felt pressured to take any particular course of action at any point. A very special thank you to Maureen, who administered my proposal; she was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, as are the rest of the staff. My proposal was accepted by my creditors at my desired rate, the counselling sessions went smoothly, and all the fear/stress I felt before I sought their help has since been completely lifted. Seriously, if you feel like there's no hope - it's well worth the call. Sorry for the somewhat delayed review, and thank you all again!

Very professional Service. Brett, who I have never met face to face except video conference, took care of everything smoothly. He was always there to answer questions either by phone or by email. He laid out the best options for me which I am really satisfied with. Other staffs were always warm toned and eager to help whenever I had called their office. Legitimate and well reputed business. Definitely five star and highly recommended.

The process has been amazing and the staff is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
