A lot of people are into debts but only a few know about consumer proposals unless they’ve gone out and done their research. When I first contacted Hoyes, Michalos & Associates, I had no idea what the firm was all about. Customer Service was quick and efficient to answer my call. The rep explained very well how it works and I was then connected to a Licensed Trustee Manager Scott. He guided me through all the steps and what to expect of the consumer proposal program. I was mentally burned out. My back-to-back debts were taking a toll on me but Scott helped me understand. My debts were reduced to more than half of what I owe provided I make sure I put equal amount of work on my consumer proposal programs That means, making consumer proposal payments on time based on what is approved by the creditors, attending a credit counselling with the licensed trustee and successfully finishing the program. Scott is always there when you have questions, very knowledgeable and professional. A heavy burden lifted off my shoulders. Thank you🙏🏼 I highly recommend this firm and talk to someone today!

After going through a divorce and finding myself stuck financially i looked at many avenues to help me fix my credit and deal with the debt i had which seemed impossible to pay while having to pay child support. His staff including himself are very friendly they didn't judge me but only made me feel comfortable with my situation. We didn't know about a consumer proposal until we read about it on one of Hoyes, Michalos & Assoc. websites. If you want to be treated with dignity and not made feel you're a bad/unresponsible person speak with one of the team members. With us it is Mark -- a fabulous person. He explains everything so we understand. He's so kind and knowledgeable. We are happy now that we have a structured plan to deal with our finances. We are working towards paying off our debt with an amount that fits our budget. And we can call anytime if questions arise. So if anyone needs debt free help we can't stress enough to get help from Hoyes, Michalos & Assoc.

THERE IS AN OPTION AND THERE IS HELP. It's called Hoyes Michalos. I did not even know they existed, heck - I didn't even know what they did! Out of all the places I contacted for urgent help, (and there were lots - even some that wanted upfront funds for their services), Hoyes were the only ones that SPOKE to me empathetically, and gave me the information I needed to proceed. They are greatly supportive and knowledgeable with what's required based on your profile. Even if you're unsure with what you need to do, they will help you in figuring it out.
